Uzbekistan exports sweet cherries to 11 countries for $48 million

AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan increased export of sweet cherries 2 times having exported 23,500 tons of cherries to 11 countries for $48 million in January-April 2020. The State Statistical Committee noted that such results are favorable during the pandemic.
The biggest importer countries are Kazakhstan (12,400 tons), Russia (6,700 tons), Kyrgyzstan (4,100 tons).
During previous years Uzbek sweet cherries were exported to South Korea, China, Poland, United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, Thailand.
As of June 1, 51.8 tons for $206,800 were exported to South Korea.
