World Bank's $134 million grant to be spent for financial recovery of Tajik energy holding

AKIPRESS.COM - The Lower Chamber of the Parliament of Tajikistan ratified the financial agreements on several projects.
One of the ratified agreements supports financial recovery of Barki Tojik energy holding.
Tajikistan and International Development Association signed the agreement in May 2020.
The agreement foresees financial support of the Barki Tojik to improve management practices.
The World Bank will provide a $134 million grant to Barki Tojik to realize the project.
The realization will start in 2020 and will end in 2026.
