AKIPRESS.COM - Malika mall, Yunusabad farmer market, wholesales market Urikzor in Uchtepa district of Tashkent were closed due to increased number of people infected with COVID-19, reports Tashkent Police Department. 71 neighborhoods in Tashkent were included in the red zone after the situation with coronavirus had become worse.
These neighborhoods will have to follow regulations of the nation-wide committee for coronavirus containment. Entrances and exits to mahallahs will be closed, officers of police, National Guard, sanitary control services will remain at stationary posts.
"Day duty under strict control will be organized in the districts. Citizens who live in red area can leave home only to buy food and medicines. They have to wear medical masks," the Tashkent Police Department said.
Since May 8, regions and cities in Uzbekistan are divided into 3 areas: red (infected), yellow, green (free from coronavirus) zones.
