Uzbek Government building reportedly closed for quarantine

AKIPRESS.COM - One of the heads of departments in the Prime Minister's Office of Uzbekistan is infected with coronavirus, reports Daryo news agency. The Uzbek Government building is closed for quarantine.
Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov on June 17 was in Kashkadarya region. The working group led by the PM visited Shahrisabz to see the preparations for the second International festival of maqam arts.
President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the video conference on June 16 stated that 482 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Tashkent in last two weeks, the source of infection is unknown in 57 cases. He noted that if situation becomes worse, some cities and regions will be locked down again.
