Woman stabbed and taken hostage by her boyfriend over jealousy dies in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - A woman who was stabbed and taken hostage by her jealous boyfriend has died in the hospital, the Kyrgyz Health Ministry confirms.
The victim had 3 stab wounds in the neck area. She was taken to the intensive care in a state of coma.
The crime occurred on June 17 when the man took the victim hostage over jealousy and threatened to stab her.
Police arrived on the scene and held negotiations with the man to release her. Although the man was captured by the police, he managed to wound the woman.
