Draft amendments to law on combating financing of terrorism pass second reading at Kyrgyz parliament

AKIPRESS.COM - Draft amendments to the law on combating financing of terrorist activities and legalization of criminal proceeds passed the second reading at the Kyrgyz parliament on June 19. The draft law is aimed at uniting laws of Kyrgyzstan in the field of fight against financing of terrorism and legalization of criminal proceeds.
The amendments are also aimed at elimination of contradictions between the law on fight against financing of terrorism and legalization of criminal proceeds and the criminal procedural code of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the temporary regulation of the united register of crimes and the offences.
