Over 1,000 migrant workers return to Jalal-Abad region from abroad

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 1,000 migrant workers returned to Jalal-Abad region from abroad, region vice governor Irisbek Izabekov said.
Lots of citizens of Kyrgyzstan working abroad are returning home since start of the pandemic, he said.
"Upon arrival in Kyrgyzstan, they stay in the observation point in Bishkek for 14 days. When they return to their home region, we will either quarantine them at home or take to the observation point," he said.
He admitted there are difficulties with accommodation of returning migrants, since many of them are coming back.
