AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov said under the Irrigation Development Program for 2017-2026, 1,700 hectares of new irrigated land will be developed in 2020.
The increase the water supply of irrigated land on an area of 17,562 hectares is planned for 2020 along with the amelioration condition of 3,600 hectares of land.
Clean drinking water will be provided to 80 villages.
In total, 110 thousand new jobs will be created in the area of irrigation development, provision of clean drinking water by 2024 and development of new irrigated lands. Clean drinking water will be provided to a total of 715 villages.
