6 medical workers in Ashgabat reportedly infected with COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - Six medical workers of the Medical and Consultative Center in Ashgabat are infected with COVID-19. Three of them are in serious condition, The Chronicles of Turkmenistan reported. The Center does not have infectious diseases unit. A part of the infected workers was taken to the infectious diseases hospital in Choganly village outside Ashgabat, others were taken to the isolator in Akhal region.
The Medical and Consultative Center is one of the biggest medical facilities in Turkmenistan, serving dozens of thousands people a year.
The Center has qualified personnel and charges lowes fees compared to other medical facilities, making it popular among locals.
