Turkmen President on working visit in Ahal region

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the country's Ahal region on Monday, the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) reports. President flew by helicopter towards the Babadayhan and Kaka districts, where the he got acquainted with the construction work of modern textile complexes, each of which is designed to annually process 5,000 tons of fine-fiber cotton.
During the trip, the President of Turkmenistan from the helicopter cockpit examined the wheat fields and got acquainted with the construction process of the new administrative center of the region.
Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the activities of Ahalgallaönümleri Production Association's Gallaönümleri enterprise. The enterprise consists of four workshops for the production of wheat flour, pasta, bakery products and polypropylene bags.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov then held a working meeting at which he summed up the results of his working trips to the regions. The President noted that situation in the velayats demonstrates the proper level of works carried out by farmers.
