AKIPRESS.COM - The results of the competition for the Honorary Tourist of Kyrgyzstan title are due for September 27 on World Tourism Day, said Director of the Department of Tourism Maksat Damir uulu. According to the terms of the contest, the participants would take photographs or videos at must-see sites of Kyrgyzstan and post them on social networks with a hashtag #???????????????????? (UniqueKyrgyzstan).
He also spoke about promoting domestic tourism. "Apart from Issyk-Kul, we have such tourism destinations as Son-Kol, Chatyr-Kol and other places for longer vacations. Even in Bishkek one can join tours to beautiful places near the city," he said.
"At the moment, we are actively working to digitalise and post relevant information on websites," he said.
