18 small hydropower plants function in Kyrgyzstan so far

AKIPRESS.COM - 18 small hydropower plants are currently operating in Kyrgyzstan's energy system, CEO of the National Energy Holding company Aitmamat Nazarov said. 9 of them are private hydroelectric power plants, while 9 others are operated by the National Energy Holding.
Construction of 3 small HPPs is underway, he added.
Two of them will be completed this year, the third one in 2021.
