Remote villages of Issyk-Kul region to get access to Internet

AKIPRESS.COM - The fiber optic transmission line are stretched in Tyup district of Issyk-Kul region at Karkyra checkpoint, Kyrgyztelecom Director Emil Janybekov said.
Some 2.18 million soms were allocated for the project, he said.
"The work on Internet connection is carried out. Upon completion of the task, remote villages and Karkyra checkpoint will get access to Internet," Turmush cited the director as saying.
Internet connection will allow the Karkyra checkpoint on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border to function properly.
The project is supposed to be accomplished by the end of June.
