AKIPRESS.COM - Additional personnel will be recruited to receive 118 hotline calls, Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said.
"At the beginning of the week, 118 hotline received around 40-50 calls a day. Now the number of calls grew 13 times. We made the decision to increase the number of hotline workers to respond to all calls. Any citizen needing consultation or medical assistance should receive it timely," Boronov said.
The Prime Minister also noted the overload of the ambulance service.
"Ambulance service received 4,561 calls in Bishkek for a day. Some received consultations by phone, others were served by ambulance teams. The number of ambulance cars will be increased. Around 20 ambulance teams will start working since this week," the Prime Minister said.
