Hospitals in Bishkek stretched beyond capacity - mayor

AKIPRESS.COM - Hospitals in Bishkek are stretched beyond capacity, Bishkek mayor Aziz Surakmatov told a briefing today.
The mayor explained the situation with resurgence in COVID-19 cases, pneumonia and respiratory viral infections.
"After resumption of economic activities, the growth of infected and contacts is observed in Bishkek. People seek medical assistance themselves. Ambulance service does not cope with the overload," the mayor said.
