Ten die of COVID-19, 20 from pneumonia for last 24 hours in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Ten people died of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan during the past 24 hours, Health Minister Alexey Tsoy told a press briefing today.
The total number of lethal cases linked to coronavirus reached 198.
"During the last 24 hours, 10 patients died from coronavirus infection and 20 patients died from pneumonia. Now we have switched to the united statistics when all COVID-19 cases, both symptomatic and asymptomatic, are counted together. This is necesary to understand a real situation in the country. Every patient, regardless of presence or absence of symptoms, is potentially contagious. Our task is to understand the real scale of the situation," the Minister said.
1,247 patients with pneumonia were registered for the last 24 hours in the country, the Minister said.
