628 people die from pneumonia in Kazakhstan in June

AKIPRESS.COM - The number of patients with pneumonia grew 4 times in June in Kazakhstan, chief sanitary inspector Aijan Yesmagambetova told a press briefing today.
Pneumonia prevalence rate grew by 55% this year compared to the previous year, she said.
"As for mortality from pneumonia in the first half of 2019 and 2020, it has not changed significantly. 1,780 lethal cases from pneumonia were registered in the first half og 2019 and 1,772 cases in the first half of this year," she said.
The mortality from pneumonia grew in June and made 628, the chief sanitary inspector stated.
