Death toll from COVID-19 in Kazakhstan hits 200

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Health Minister of Kazakhstan Ajar Giniyat provided update on the COVID-19 situation during a press briefing today.
"The coronavirus situation is tense not only in Kazkahstan, but throughout the world. Many countries have the second wave of infection," she said.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Kazakhstan is growing daily, she said.
The growth rate of new cases for a month made 4.5% in average. In the regions, the growth rate varies between 2% and 8%.
By this time 44,100 COVID-19 cases are registered. In average, 1,500 people get infected a day. 200 people died from coronavirus in hospitals, she said.
