Two chief doctors of Kyrgyzstan awarded high state orders for fight against COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov awarded the state Manas order of third degree to two chief doctors for their contribution to fight against COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan.
Guljigit Aaliyev, a chief physician of the Republican Clinical Infectious Disease Hospital, and Asamidin Maripov, director of the Nookat territorial hospital in Osh region, were awarded the high state orders for their contribution to the fight against coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan, protection of people's health and sanitary-epidemiological wellbeing of the population, as well as on the occasion of the Health Worker's Day.
The Nookat hospital was the first to admit COVID-19 patients after its outbreak in Osh region in March 2020.
The Republican Infectious Disease Hospital has been the main hospital for more than two months to treat COVID-19 patients from Bishkek and the entire Chui region.
