AKIPRESS.COM - 6,368 new COVID-19 cases are confirmed in Russia in last 24 hours, the emergency response team for coronavirus containment reports on July 7.
New cases are confirmed in 82 regions of the country. 1,902 (29.9%) are contacts and asymptomatic cases.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 694,230 (+0.9%).
21.5 million laboratory tests were made for coronavirus, including 202,000 in the previous 24 hours. 463,880 patients recovered. 272,814 patients remain in hospitals.
198 people died from coronavirus infection for the last 24 hours. Most lethal cases are reported in St.Petersburg - 48 and in Moscow - 24.
The total number of lethal cases from coronavirus infection in Russia reached 10,494.
