Kyrgyz government to recommend stop of intercity bus service

AKIPRESS.COM - "We are going to recommend the nation-wide operative team for Covid-19 fight to stop intercity bus service," Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov told a press conference today.
"I think people will treat this decision with understanding and will stop traveling from one region to another. We have such option in mind," the Prime Minister said and added the operative team will make the final decision.
The control at sanitary checkpoints at entry points to the regions will be tightened, the PM said.
"I do ask Bishkek citizens not to travel to the regions now and not expose region citizens to risks of COVD-19 transmission," the PM said.
