Ferghana region sends humanitarian aid to Batken region valued at $81,000

AKIPRESS.COM - The administration of Fergana region of Uzbekistan dispatched humanitarian aid to Batken region valued at 6.3 million soms (above $81,000).
The aid included personal protective and diagnostic equipment, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment reported.
The aid was sent following the talks held between Batken region governor Alisher Abdrakhmanov and Ferghana region governor Shukhrat Ganiev.
According to Uzbek media reports, the aid included 5,000 COVID-19 test kits, 13 titles of medical equipment, medicines.
The Batken region administration thanked the President of Uzbekistan and administration of Ferghana region for aid provided in a difficult situation.
Uzbekistan earlier sent 8 tons of humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan, which included 50 oxygen concentrators and 100 lung ventilators with consumable materials.
