AKIPRESS.COM - "Severe endurance test awaits us in next few days and weeks," Bishkek mayor Aziz Surakmatov told a press briefing today.
"We should be patient and courageous enough. We need to observe the established rules and restrictions with a high sense of responsibility. Only then we will be able to cope with this infection and save lives of our close ones," the mayor said.
The mayor reminded that the drug to treat COVID-19 has not been found yet.
"Unfortunately, people die in Americas, Europe and other develoepd countries. The number of deaths reached 540,000 worldwide. According to our observations, COVID-19 cases decline in the countries where self-isolation is strictly kept," the mayor added.
