AKIPRESS.COM - Since July 10, whole territory of Uzbekistan will become a red zone, Interior Ministry's press secretary Shokhrukh Giyasov said.
"The special commission earlier permitted citizens of Tashkent region working in Tashkent to enter the capital to get to work, but since July 10 this will be prohibited," the press secretary said.
All regions of Uzbekistan will become a red zone.
Only food stores and pharmacies will stay open after reinstatement of strict quarantine restrictions from July 10 to August 1.
All previous loosening of restrictions for public catering facilities will be canceled. Only food delivery will be allowed.
Uzbekistan practices division of regions into zones depending upon COVID-19 situation since May 8. The regions were dvided into red (the most dangerous), yellow and green (coronavirus-free) zones.
