Talas region to tighten restrictions due to resurgence in COVID-19 cases

AKIPRESS.COM - Talas region in Kyrgyzstan tightens restrictions in connection with resurgence in COVID-19 cases, government representative Marat Murataliyev said.
The passage through the sanitary post in Taldy-Bulak village will not be allowed since July 9, so the local citizens won't be able to travel to Bishkek and Osh. The restrictions are connected with worsening of epidemiological situation and growth of coronavirus and pneumonia cases in Talas region.
Sport complexes and stadiums will also close. Animal markets will stop working for 2 weeks.
The local administration require from citizens to follow sanitary rules, wear masks and use antiseptics.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Talas region reached 82 as of July 9.
