Man with COVID-19 ran away from hospital in Batken and died

AKIPRESS.COM - 56-year-old man died from coronavirus in Batken on July 8 after having left the hospital, Turmush reports.
The man was sent to Batken region hospital on July 2 after he had returned from Bishkek and his test for COVID-19 had been positive. He however left the hospital at night of July 7 and died on July 8.
Batken police department confirmed that the man had left the infectious diseases ward of the hospital without consent.
The police and doctors visited the patient at home and tried to transport him to hospital. The man refused to obey and eventually received permission to be treated at home. He died soon.
The police launched investigation into violation of quarantine rules.
