Russia reports 6,509 new COVID-19 cases, 707,301 in total

AKIPRESS.COM - 6,509 new COVID-19 cases are confirmed in Russia in last 24 hours, the emergency response team reports on July 9.
These cases are confirmed in 85 regions of the country. 1,778 (27.3%) are contacts and asymptomatic cases.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 707,301 (+0.9%).
Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 22 million laboratory tests were made for coronavirus, including 288,000 in the previous 24 hours. 481,386 patients recovered. 276,213 patients remain in hospitals.
176 people died from coronavirus infection for the last 24 hours. Most lethal cases are reported in St.Petersburg - 36 and in Moscow - 32.
The total number of lethal cases from coronavirus infection in Russia reached 10,843.
