Mosques to close in Uzbekistan since July 10

AKIPRESS.COM - Mosques will be closed in Uzbekistan from July 10 to August 1.
The religious affairs committee under the government of Uzbekistan suspended work of religious organizations over epidemiological situation.
The mosques were earlier shut down in Uzbekistan with introduction of lockdown. They reopened since June 8 in the coronavirus-free regions.
After deterioration of the coronavirus situation, the Uzbek authorities reinstated strict quarantine restrictions from July 10 until August 1. The public transport won't work. Public catering facilities, parks, gyms, swimming pools, kindergartens, consumer goods markets and other entities will be shut down.
