AKIPRESS.COM - A doctor in Kashkadarya infected 30 people with COVID-19 during meeting with local councilors, region governor Zoir Mirzayev said in his address to people.
"The doctor violated quarantine regulations, when he visited his relatives and went to meet with local councilors on June 24. As a result, he infected 30 people," the governor said.
The region governor requested citizens to observe quarantine restrictions. He announced that children spending vacations in summer camps will be sent home on July 10.
Public catering facilities, such as cafés and restaurants will be closed. The food delivery services will continue working.
Drinks on tap, ice cream, sunflower seeds, tobacco products (by one) and prepared food are not allowed to be sold outdoors.
The work of taxi services in Kashkadarya should follow sanitary regulations: protection screen should separate a driver and passengers, everyone should wear masks, there should not be more than 2 passengers traveling at once, they should work on registered territory.
"In any other case the work of taxi in Kashkadarya will cease till August 1," Zoir Mirzayev noted.
It was reported earlier that 127 workers on Uzbekistan GTL plant construction site in Kashkadarya region contracted COVID-19.
