Jalal-Abad governor tests positive for coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - Governor of Jalal-Abad region Nurbolot Mirzakhmedov contracted coronavirus, Turmush reports. On July 9, Mirzakhmedov took coronavirus test. Today, the results came out positive.
"Like many infected people, I lost taste and smell. Now I receive treatment at home," he said.
Earlier, the governor said that his driver developed symptoms of coronavirus.
"My driver's tests came out negative, but he lost taste and smell, so I decided to isolate myself. I work from home. I took the tests," said Mirzakhmedov.
Kyrgyzstan has confirmed 511 new cases of COVID-19, 29 of them in the Jalal-Abad region.
