Russia reports more than 6,600 new COVID-19 cases

AKIPRESS.COM - 6,635 new COVID-19 cases are confirmed in Russia, the emergency response team for coronavirus containment reports on July 10.
These cases are confirmed in 85 regions of the country. 1,673 (25.2%) are contacts and asymptomatic cases.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 713,936 (+0.9%).
According to the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, more than 22.3 million laboratory tests were made for coronavirus, including 308,000 in the previous 24 hours. 489,068 patients recovered. 278,410 patients remain in hospitals.
174 people died from coronavirus infection for the last 24 hours. Most lethal cases are reported in Moscow - 28 and in St. Petersburg - 21.
The total number of lethal cases from coronavirus infection in Russia reached 11,017.
