10 virology laboratories to be set up in Kyrgyzstan within IDB project

AKIPRESS.COM - 10 virology laboratories are planned to be set up in Kyrgyzstan within the project of the Islamic Development Bank, Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova said at the briefing on July 10. According to her, the project provides a loan of $15 million for an emergency response to COVID-19.
These laboratories will be provided with sanitary vehicles for the collection and delivery of biomaterials.
It is also planned the purchase of personal protective equipment, the provision of medicines, medical devices, medical equipment for $5.9 million, the purchase of equipped ambulance cars for regional hospitals for $3.3 million.
The project is currently under implementation.
