Kazakhstan extends quarantine restrictions for 2 weeks

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev said the quarantine restrictions in Kazakhstan will be extended for 2 weeks.
"The quarantine will be extended for two weeks in connection with the epidemiological situation. The governmental commission will make decision tomorrow. Quarantine is needed for protection of health of citizens with observance of self-isolation," Tokayev said on Twitter.
Kazakhstan reintroduced 2-week quarantine since July 5.
Tokayev promised to pay 42,500 tenge (over $100) to needy families.
