President of Uzbekistan orders to stock 3-month drug reserves

AKIPRESS.COM - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during a video conference on July 14 focused on epidemiological situation ordered to arrange a reserve of medical drugs for 3 months, president's press service reports.
"We will give as many drugs as needed. But when drug prices increase, population becomes unsatisfied, so we have to control that. We have these drugs as reserve, but there are difficulties with transportation. Regional prices are different. We need to make reserve and review prices," the President said.
Mirziyoyev requested government officials to control prices on food markets.
"Four region governors have to control their markets. There are no problems with food in Uzbekistan. We have to take measures to provide population with high quality and cheap products," he said.
The President also asked population to follow quarantine restrictions "for the health of their family, children and elderly people".
