Kyrgyzstan records 83 fatalities from COVID-19 and pneumonia

AKIPRESS.COM - 83 lethal cases from COVID-19 and pneumonia (U07.1 and U07.2) were recorded for the past 24 hours, the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment reported.
The lethal cases were registered in Bishkek - 33, in Issyk-Kul region - 17, in Jalal-Abad region - 11, in Osh region - 9, in Chui region - 7, in Naryn region - 3, in Talas region - 2, in Batken region - 1.
785 people died from coronavirus and pneumonia since March.
The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan announced on July 17 it combines COVID-19 and community-acquired pneumonia cases. They will be coded as U07.1 - laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 (positive PCR test) and U07.2 - COVID-19 confirmed by clinical and epidemiological signs (community-acquired pneumonia).
