Over 3,300 people have died from pneumonia in Kazakhstan since year start

AKIPRESS.COM - 3,327 people have died from pneumonia in Kazakhstan from January 1 to July 15, Health Minister Alexey Tsoy said.
The pneumonia fatality rate grew 1.75 times compared to the same period of the previous year.
234,187 pneumonia cases were recorded in the country for this period, this is 3.3 times more than in the previous year.
The total number of coronavirus cases reached 66.895. 464 people died from coronavirus, the Minister said.
Health Minister Alexey Tsoy said earlier Kazakhstan will unite coronavirus and pneumonia cases. The full transition to new statistics methodology will be made since August 1.
