COVID-19 fatality rate high in Kyrgyzstan. In-patient facilities should be strengthened with qualified medical workers - First Deputy PM

AKIPRESS.COM - In-patient facilties opened in Bishkek and the regions of Kyrgyzstan should be strengthened with qualified medical workers, First Deputy Prime Minister Almazbek Batyrbekov said at today's meeting of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment.
"New daytime and nighttime in-patient facilities are opened. More beds are arranged at hospitals for patients with COVID-19. Yet the rate of fatality from COVID-19 remains rather high. To save lives of patients, we need to strengthen in-patient facilities with qualified specialists," the First Deputy Prime Minister said.
He also ordered to accelerate launch of a solution for coordination of actions between hospitals and ambulance service.
The Ministry of Health was instructed to intensify control over supply of medicines and equipment for hospitals, creation of conditions for work and rest of medical workers.
