E-system for tracking available hospital beds piloted in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The State IT and Communication Committee has developed a map of hospitals and in-patient facilities in Bishkek for patients with coronavirus infection.
The IT Committee also pilots e-system of monitoring of available beds in hospitals. First Deputy Prime Minister Almazbek Batirbekov and Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova were familiarized with work of the system.
"Launch of e-system will be of huge help in delivery of timely medical assitance to citizens who need it. Using this system ambulance call center and coronavirus hotline will be able to determine promptly vacant beds in hospitals. We will obtain chance to save more human lives," Batirbekov said.
A complete information about hospitals, daytime and nighttime in-patient facilities, their supplies and number of personnel may be obtained via e-system. Mobile operator MegaCom provided smart phones to healthcare organizations free of charge for monitoring of the system.
