Jeenbekov: Misuse of assistance provided for COVID-19 response won''t be allowed

AKIPRESS.COM - "We will not allow misuse of assistance provided for fight against coronavirus," President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said in the interview for the Birinchi Radio today.
"This issue is under my personal control and under control of the Prime Minister. The government is responsible for use of provided assistance as intended," Jeenbekov said.
People should learn to live and work amid the pandemic, the President said.
"Economic, social projects won't be stopped. New projects will be launched. Despite a difficult situation, the programs on water supply, restoration of irrigation networks, affordable living will not be stopped," he said.
Salaries and benefits will be paid on time. The process of digitalization will be accelerated, the President said.
