61% coronavirus patients who died in past 24h aged above 50 years

AKIPRESS.COM - 61% of deaths from coronavirus per day are patients over 50-years-old, said Deputy Minister of Health Madamin Karatayev on July 20. According to him, the 191 recent deaths were analyzed by age:
- 5% are aged between 20-39 years;
- 8% are aged between 40-49 years;
- 26% are aged between 50-59 years;
- 35% are aged between 60-69 years;
- 26% are aged over 70 years.
"61% are people who are at risk. Their death cannot be related to the coronavirus alone. People have co-existing diseases. We must pay special attention to this age category," said Karatayev.
