AKIPRESS.COM - The number of coronavirus cases in Kyrgyzstan is not decreasing, this is a small calm period, says pharmacologist Aida Zurdinova. "This opportunity should be used by specialists to get prepared. If we take into account the population size, then we have not yet reached the peak. According to forecasts of epidemiologists, the peak will come somewhere in the middle of August," Zurdinova said.
611 new cases of coronavirus and pneumonia have been confirmed in Kyrgyzstan in the past 24h. In total, 27,143 cases of infection have been registered since March.
Aida Zurdinova is the Kyrgyz Health Ministry's senior pharmacologist.
