Number of pneumonia and COVID-19 cases reaches 10,000 in Chui region

AKIPRESS.COM - 2,641 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Chui region as of July 22, the regional government reports. Reportedly, most of the cases were registered in two districts: Alamedin and Sokuluk.
Alamedin district - 748 people, Kemin district - 121 people, Sokuluk district - 709 people, Moscow district - 200 people, Jayil district - 417 people, Tokmok town - 34 people, Chui district - 46 people, Issyk-Ata district - 236 people, Panfilov district - 130 people.
968 people are treated at home, 127 people - in district hospitals. 361 people have recovered.
7111 people with community-acquired pneumonia were recorded in the region, including 637 people are being treated in hospitals, and 710 people have recovered.
2414 places have been prepared in 238 institutions of the region. 5158 people have applied to day hospitals since the opening. A total of 613 health workers work there. Day-time makeshift hospitals have 267 oxygen concentrators, the statement says.
