Korea sends second batch of humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan for COVID-19 response

AKIPRESS.COM - South Korea sent the second batch of humanitarian aid to Uzbekistan via Korean Air company cargo flight on July 22, Dunyo news agency reports.
The first batch arrived on July 10 and included 144,000 medical masks (KF94). This batch includes 206,000 medical masks.
Professors Tsoi Jae Wook and Yoon Seung Joo arrived in Uzbekistan during early stages of coronavirus infection spread and helped local doctors to fight the pandemic.
South Korea sent to Uzbekistan diagnostic complexes for the sum of $250,000 at the end of April.
Korea's Embassy, Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH), Korea Corporation for Water Resources, Korea Land and Housing Corporation supported vulnerable groups of population.
