Men who beat Pakistani students to remain in custody for a month

AKIPRESS.COM - The three men suspected of beating Pakistani students outside Bishkek were taken into custody, Chui region police department said.
They will be held in custody for a month for the period of pre-trial investigation.
Five Pakistani students reported to police on July 19 they were beaten by locals in Koi-Tash village, outside Bishkek.
The attackers escaped from the scene by the time of arrival of police.
One of the beaten students is Abbas Ali Shakh, who worked as a volunteer in a daytime in-patient facility at School No. 95 in Bishkek. He was aiding people with coronavirus and pneumonia symptoms there.
