India sends medicines to Uzbekistan to assist fight against COVID-19

AKIPRESS.COM - India sent humanitarian aid to Tashkent with Uzbekistan Airways plane, Dunyo news agency reports. Humanitarian aid includes 7 million tablets of drugs found effective in COVID-19 treatment.
The Embassy of Uzbekistan and Pharmacy Production Department of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers in India reached agreement the medicines will be provided on a grant basis.
The 5-tons cargo was handed over to Uzbek government officials.
