Dynamics of recovery from COVID-19 improving in Kyrgyzstan, yet many new cases registered - Health Ministry's specialist

AKIPRESS.COM - Dynamics in recovery of patients with COVID-19 is improving, Health Ministry's public health senior specialist Baktigul Ismailova said.
"Recovery dynamics is getting better. 1,247 people were discharged from hospitals on July 24. This is more than yesterday - 1,031. So we have increase for 100 people. If we look at registration of new cases, we may say this dynamics is improving as well. Decline in new cases is observed," she added.
This is not time to relax however, she added, saying the number of registered cases remains high yet. If in May from 20 to 80 new cases were registered, then since the beginning of July, after consolidation of cases, from 300 to 700-800 cases are registered.
"The number of people taken to hospitals is less than recoveries. This is the sign of improvement of the situation. Yet, registration of new cases remains on a high level," she explained.
