7 pregnant women die from coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan since epidemic start

AKIPRESS.COM - 7 pregnant women and women in labor have died from coronavirus infection in Kyrgyzstan, since the beginning of the epidemic, President of the Kyrgyz Association of Gynecologists, Professor Arsen Askerov said on the air of Birinchi Radio. Askerov noted that most of them died after giving birth.
The chief gynecologist of the republic, Raisa Asylbasheva said that the number of pregnant women and women in labor who died from coronavirus and pneumonia is higher.
"Today we are collecting data and analyzes about maternal mortality. We will report the exact number after results," she said.
