Number of voters in Kyrgyzstan may decline by voting day

AKIPRESS.COM - The number of voters may decrease by the voting day, Central Election Commission Chair Nurjan Shaildabekova said.
The voter list is being updated now.
"The voter list is updated from two sources: on the basis of a statement of a voter to a local election commission and on the basis of the population registry. For instance, we have citizens who will turn 18 by the voting time and they should be included into the electoral process or citizens may be removed from the list over death or renunciation of citizenship," she explained.
The voter list will be finalized 7 days prior to voting day, she added.
