3,460 Mongolian nationals to be airlifted by 14 flights in August

AKIPRESS.COM - State Emergency Committee approved list of flights to return home Mongolian citizens who stayed abroad due to closed borders after the beginning of the pandemic, head of consular department of Foreign Ministry L. Monkhtushig says on July 28.
Around 3,460 citizens will be able to return by 14 charter flights next month.
These flights include 4 to South Korea, 3 to Europe, 2 to Japan, 1 to Australia, Turkey, USA, India, Vietnam.
Mongolian nationals who remain in Czech Republic will return home by flight organized by Czech government and International Organization for migration.
L. Monkhtushig noted that the Committee will continue to work to return more Mongolian nationals home.
As of July 28, 12,205 Mongolian citizens who applied to return remain abroad.
