Government to tighten epidemiological control in Issyk-Kul region with more vacationers coming

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov ordered to tighten control over epidemiological situation in Issyk-Kul region in view of grown number of tourists spending their vacations in health resorts and vacation hotels at Lake Issyk-Kul.
"According to statistics, around 3,000 people visited Issyk-Kul regions on their vacations last month. More than 10,000 vacationers visited the region during 20 days of July," Prime Minister Boronov said during the today's meeting of the nation-wide operative team for coronavirus containment.
"Some of them might have coronavirus infection and received treatment. This is why it is very important to tighten control in the region," the Prime Minister.
Additional personnel will be dispatched to the region if necessary, the Prime Minister said.
